Composite Decking…?

Very excited to have received a little delivery of samples for garden decking.

I’m usually purely focused on interior elements, but couldn’t help dabbling in outdoor materials. We are looking at getting a composite decking instead of traditional wood.

The Charcoal is the front runner, as it works well with the existing wall renders and existing paving.

The benefits stacked up for us and main deal breakers are;

1. Low maintenance, no need to repaint or restain. Just a hose down to keep looking fresh.
2. Super strong and will stay strong... the average wooden deck lasts 10-15 years with treatment. A composite deck 30+
3. No splinters, I like walking around bare foot and with a wee dog and toddler running around, it's a must.
4. Environmentally friendly, the composite is made up of tree scraps.
