O Christmas Tree…

As we’re in the in the run up to Christmas and enjoying decorating, I wanted to hark back to a time long ago when I ran “treetorials” on Oxford Street, to teach people how to dress there tress.

Before any of you ask… yes, that is a real job, and it was great fun!

During this time I was introduced to waterfall (aka - horse tail) lights and have never gone back. They make it simple to achieve a even spread of lights. Made with copper wire, they are easy to bend and durable.

When installing, they come in multiple long threads, all bunched together. You separate them into rough bunches at the top of the tree and then work your way down pushing them into the tree. They make it simple to add depth to your tree, some lights pushed deep near the truck with others wrapped around individual branches gives a magical effect.
